As of October, 2022, Stonebridge Owners Association has negotiated a group rate for trash service for our neighborhood. We have obtained a group rate/preferred pricing with Green For Life (GFL) Environmental.

The rate for all three services: trash, recycling and yard waste, is $51.50 for 2 months of service. GFL provides containers for trash and recycling free of charge. Interested residents need to call 816.380.5595 to switch to GFL Environmental. Please let them know that you live in Stonebridge Subdivision in order to receive the preferred pricing.

If you have GFL and your rate is higher than $51.50, please call them and let them know so you can obtain the lower rate. If you have GFL and your rate is lower than the new rate, no need to contact them and you can keep your lower rate.

 

For yard waste, GFL asks that it be placed in up to a 10 yard waste bag on trash days. GFL does not provide or rent yard waste containers, but if you have your own commercial yard waste container that has the pickup bar on the front of the container, those containers can be picked up by the trash trucks electronically.

 

Having residents utilize one trash company limits the amount of trash trucks in our neighborhood and the amount of waste that is set out. Of course, homeowners are always free to choose whatever trash service fits their needs, but we recommend the use of the HOA group rate company.

**Please remember that trash containers, per Blue Springs city ordinance, cannot be placed more than five feet from the front of your house on trash pickup days. You must put our trash container out of sign on non-trash pickup days.
